For Monday, October 25, 2010~
Outside my window~
the sun is shining brightly and the leaves are gorgeous!
I am hearing~
my kids singing "America"
I am thinking~
about my Sweetheart
I am thankful~
for the conviction of the Holy Spirit
I am remembering~
the sermon yesterday that encouraged me to be still and obey the Lord
I am reading~
my Bible, Answers in Genesis magazine, cooking magazines
I am hoping~
that we have a good visit with my brother before he heads back to Europe on Thursday
On my mind~
are my grandparents
Noticing that~
I need to clean the family room
Wondering~
who will be in the majority in about 8 days
I am creating~
nothing at the moment
Food for thought~
"Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven."
Psalm 119:89
From the kitchen~
Sunday~grilled steak, seasoned potatoes, limas
Monday~steak fajitas
Tuesday~poppy seed chicken casserole
Wednesday~swiss steak (crock-pot)
Thursday~tba
Friday~tba
Saturday~tba
*tba does not mean we'll be eating out all those days... :)
Around the house~
the mammal poster is done and it looks really nice
One of my favorite things~
is the time I get to spend with my family, laughing, sharing,
making memories, and just enjoying each other
A few plans for the rest of the week~
church revival M, T, W evening
visit with my brother
Bible Builders on Saturday
From my picture journal~
a few pictures from our recent trip through the Appalachian Mountains
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a blessed day, my friends!
I'll be linking up to The Simple Woman's Daybook, so hop on over there if you'd like to read other daybooks. Thank you, Peggy, for hosting this every week! :)

Really hope that you get to enjoy that time with your brother before he leaves! Praying that all is going well on the field and that he has been encouraged and refreshed while he was back in the states!
Enjoy time with your brother. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Our trees are just turning brown, nothing pretty. I think we have gone back to summer. The temps today are supposed to be in the 90's.
I am “thinking” and “thankful” for you.
I enjoy hearing you laugh…..I have a video, if you want to share????!!!!
I hope you are “noticing that” the ‘kids’ need to clean the family room – most likely “D” and “S”
“tba” – “to be announced” OR “to be attended – a.k.a – eat out??”
I hope you are having a great day!
Love,
“Hubbie”
Beautiful pictures! We are still waiting for our leaves to turn here. Looks like it is going to be Nov....that's what happens in the south!
The pictures are beautiful! I am also wondering who will be in the majority next week.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog, and for your prayers. When things calm down I look forward to reading more of your blog and getting to know you better!
That is funny that you commented that TBA does not mean that you will be eating out those days=)...
Can I please eat at your house this week?
I've always wanted to go to the Appalacian mountains but haven't! One of these days! ~ I got your comment and did not know that the 31st is Reformation Day! Who knew? Not me! I'll have to share that with my husband. I wonder what we could do to celebrate?
