Thankful Thursday

I have seen several blogs with this wonderful idea of Thankful Thursday, and I would like to join in every week. My friend, Jennifer, has some really great posts. :) She is the one who got me started reading blogs...and as the saying goes, "The rest is history."

Today, I am thankful for my salvation. I said a prayer as a five year old. Looking back, I do not believe that I was truly saved. When I was a sophomore in college, I heard a salvation message that got me thinking. Am I truly on my way to Heaven? I did not know for sure, so the next evening (I do not know why I waited until the next evening) I talked with a lady on the college staff, and she showed me the Romans Road. I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and to come into my heart and save me. I know for sure that if I died today, I would go to Heaven! Do you have that assurance today?

What are you thankful for today? Please leave a comment and let me know!

Hope everyone has a great day!

I am thankful for the wonderful people who search for ways to make cancer treatments for effective. I am also thankful that my aunt was a 100 % match for my mom for stemcell transplant for mom's leukemia.

Thank you God for giving people the ability to find ways to help people with their illnesses.

I am thankful to be living in Lithuania! I was talking with another missionary recently. We have both been to Russia, and we say the same thing: "Thank God for Lithuania!!"
